Pillsbury cake mixes

General Mills-India, with net sales of $11.5 billion, has re-launched the Pillsbury Cake Mixes in two exciting flavours – rich chocolate and vanilla. Every pack has two recipes offering consumers the flexibility to bake the cake either with or without eggs. Priced at Rs 60, the Pillsbury Cake Mix bakes a 400 g of vanilla flavoured cake and 425 g of chocolate cake in 30 minutes. The company claims that all the ingredients have been pre-mixed in the right proportions to “give a perfect quality cake – time after time”.

Additionally, Pillsbury ‘chocolate’ and ‘vanilla’ icing recipes are also provided. The General Mills brands portfolio includes Big G Cereals, Betty Cracker desserts and mixes, Pillsbury dough based products, Green Giant vegetables, Haagen-Dazs ice cream, Old El Paso Mexican Foods, Pop-Secret microwave popcorn and Nature Valley granola bars in addition to Pillsbury Chakki Fresh Atta, Pillsbury Pan-Fresh Pizza, Pillsbury Non-Sticky Semiya, Pillsbury Cooker Cake Mixes and Pillsbury Rotis, Parathas and Naans.

NTN Corporation showcases bearings with solid grease for food machinery optimised for food processing machinery. The company promises that the components are hygienically designed to allow for easy washing and effective prevention and bacteria propogation. The company also claims that the products are made of safe materials that comply with USDA (US Department of Agriculture) and other food standards.

The bearings with solid grease type boast of a high degree of safety because the heat-solidifying grease for food machinery is composed of food-grade lubricating grease that complies with the USDA’s H-1 standard, as well as super molecular wieght approved by an FDA standard.

The temperature at bearing outer ring should be maintained in a range of 10 to 100°C (80°C maximum for continuous operation).
