fact into consideration, Godrej Industries identifying soya milk as
being the most effective way of delivering the natural goodness of this

Cereals.
The groundwork
Launching these innovative products however proved
to be an uphill task involving tremendous amount of research, which
Godrej rightly included in its thorough groundwork. The company initially
identified 'taste' as one of the biggest barriers to the consumption
of soya products. Once this was done, several ways to overcome this
impediment were thought about. Finally, it was decided to mix the product
with real fruit juices to develop the 'taste' element, and at the same
time to retain its health benefits. The result was the energising 'Sofit
Soymilk' in four different flavours of apple, mango, malt and natural,
made from carefully selected soyabeans and the best of fruits. Its launch
was teamed up with 'Sofit Cereals' catering specifically to the breakfast
